Job Description:

My client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join their team and help grow their Drive-Line/Hydraulics department. Utilizing your Engineering background - you will join a team of 6 Mechanical Engineers. This location is rapidly expanding to become a flagship location within the global, billion dollar organization.

Client Details

My client is an OEM for making industrial machinery such as forklifts and cranes. This will be for one specific business unit for a larger conglomerate who has 5 different locations/business units to their name. This specific role will be for one of their main product lines.

Description

  • Oversee the detailing and releasing of engineering drawings for components and systems for which you are responsible
  • Excel in 2D and 3D designs
  • Partner with other vehicle systems teams to create comprehensive solutions to the various engineering teams
  • Oversee staffing
  • Maximize Efficiency and optimize quality on the production floor
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Understand the ENTIRE Manufacturing Process to identify bottlenecks
  • Work Cross Functionally and Communicate across departments to ensure high levels of efficiency
  • Establish site KPI metrics to analyze local success
  • Implement LEAN Manufacturing principles

Profile

  • 4 Year degree is required
  • AutoCAD, AutoDesk Inventor, & SolidWorks proficiency
  • BOM & SOP documentation experience
  • Experience establishing site KPI's to analyze performance
  • Experience in hydraulics, drive-line, or engine installation
  • Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Continuous Improvement / LEAN Manufacturing experience preferred
  • PLC / Automation Knowledge preferred, not required
  • "Hands On" Mentality

Job Offer

  • Base Salary of $115,000 - $135,000 based on Experience
