Shift: 1st Shift Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to research, design, and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, controls, robots, engines, machines, and mechanical or heat transfer systems. The role involves applying research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and/or electromechanical systems. Key Responsibilities: Plan, design, and develop mechanical products and systems for energy production, transmission, and measurement. Perform research and testing on mechanical and electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, and engines. Ensure designs meet industry standards and project requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success. Qualifications: ABET-accredited Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering required. Experience: 9+ years with a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years with a Master's degree, or 4+ years with a Ph.D. Active Confidential Clearance or eligibility to obtain one. Strong skills in problem-solving, critical thinking, technical writing, and project management. Additional Requirements: Travel: Yes Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Ear Muffs, Hard Hat, Safety Glasses, Steel Toe Boots. Work Environment: On-site only (remote work is not permitted due to security regulations).
