Job Description: - Operate WaterJet and Laser Jet cutting machines to cut shapes according to
production specifications and schedules. - Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine
machine setup and operational requirements. - Perform machine setup, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and
calibrating equipment for optimal performance. - Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and consistency of cuts and making
adjustments as necessary. - Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure proper
functionality and minimize downtime. - Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, using precision measuring
instruments. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and
guidelines. - Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and
production targets are met. - Document production activities, including material usage, machine settings, and
inspection results.
Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of experience with WaterJet or CNC water cutting machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Basic computer skills for machine operation and documentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
