Our client in consumer packaged goods manufacturing is seeking a Maintenance Packaging Electrician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing, preventative maintenance, mechanical and electrical skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Packaging Electrician

Location: Belle Mead, NJ (Hillsborough)

Pay Range: $34 - $45 hourly

Full Time - Permanent positions with Benefits!

Various Shifts available:
1 st . Shift - Monday to Friday 7:15am to 3:30pm
2 nd . Shift -Monday-Friday 3:15pm-11:30pm
3 rd . Shift -Monday-Friday 11:15pm-7:30am

What's the Job?

• Provides electrical expertise primarily to the Aerosol and Liquid Packaging Operations and all other departments as requested including troubleshooting and repair to maximize run time.
• Demonstrated ability to program and/or troubleshoot PLC's (Programmable Logic Controllers).
• Orders electrical/electronic parts and equipment for all departments.
• Provides Packaging technical support to all Packaging departments as needed including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, changeover and repair of packaging line equipment.
• Will have responsibility for the entire department on his/her assigned shift.

What's Needed?

• Minimum 5 years relevant work experience in a team-based manufacturing environment; on high speed packaging equipment
• Required: Read electrical schematics, electrical controls, PLCs
• Associates and/or Bachelor's degree in the mechanical and/or electrical disciplines preferred; Electrical certification preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of preventative maintenance techniques and have the ability to develop and work PM crew to improve preventive maintenance programs from vendor manuals
• Strong mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance, or reliability maintenance background is desired Welding and Machining is a plus.
