Job Description:

Yoh Scientific is actively recruiting for an Injection Molding Process Engineer to work a long-term contract assignment located in Houston, TX.

To be considered, candidate must have at least 3 years of plastic injection molding experience within the medical device industry.

Title: Injection Molding Process Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Work Schedule: Full-time, M-F
Contract Duration: 24 months
Pay Rate: $37 - $53/hour

Responsibilities of the Injection Molding Process Engineer:
  • Develop and sustain optimum molding process for medical manufacturing device components
  • Develop injection molding process per the decouple scientific principles.
  • Run Projects from start to finish.
  • Improve and troubleshoot areas in the molding department.
  • Validation IQ/OQ/PQ, Ground-up process development following procedures and processes.
Required experience of the Injection Molding Process Engineer includes:
  • BS degree required; Engineering degree such as Biomedical Engineering preferred.
  • Plastic experience required including 3+ years of experience or more in developing and sustaining optimum molding process for medical manufacturing device components. 3+ years of developing injection molding process per the decouple scientific principles. 3+ years of execution and validation of IQ/OQ/PQ.
  • Great project management skills.
  • Good communication, and great people skills to work well with other departments and customers.
  • Must have the ability to write technical reports and prepare and make effective presentations.
Preferred experience of the Injection Molding Process Engineer includes:
  • 10+ Year in Plastic Manufacturing Industry
  • Master Molder certification preferred.
  • RJG or Paulson Certification for Injection Molding
