Your Responsibilities

As an Electrical Engineer, you will develop circuit boards, power distribution and control cabinets, safety systems, and associated cable interconnects. You'll participate in architectural design and the development of best practice guidelines. This role offers ample growth opportunities while working side-by-side with a motivated team to bring our innovative and exciting new technology to reality.

In This Role You Will

  1. Full lifecycle PCB design - flush out requirements, complete a schematic design, direct layout, define a design verification test, conduct tests, support production and field.
  2. Select electrical components, including commercial cables, power supplies, PLCs, sensors, etc.
  3. Collaborate cross-functionally with software, mechanical, and systems teams to ensure we have the right electrical design and that teams know how to integrate electrical contributions.
  4. Learn and follow relevant US regulatory standards on electrical design, support 3 rd party review.
  5. Design DIN-rail electrical cabinets, cables and harnesses.

What We're Looking For

  1. BS or MS in electrical engineering or equivalent.
  2. 2+ years of relevant circuit board design.
  3. Some experience designing system level electrical design, electrical cabinets.
  4. Experience working with industrial common communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, RS485, SPI, etc).
  5. Familiarity with automation and control equipment (motor control, PLCs, sensors, etc).
  6. Hands-on experience with typical lab equipment and tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, soldering equipment).
  7. Experience with Altium Designer.
  8. Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
  9. Passionate about electrical engineering, making great designs.

  8. The salary range for this position is $105,000-$125,000 plus stock and benefits. Pay within the range is based on candidate experience, job-specific skills, education, and work location.
