Volt is immediately hiring Entry Level Machine Operator in Charlotte, NC.
As a Entry Level Machine Operator, you will:
- Work: Overnight, 12-hour shifts, 7-days on/7-days off, 8:45pm-9am Tuesday-Monday
- Weighing and mixing raw materials
- Preparing and building growth chambers
- Operating crystal growth furnaces
- Starting, monitoring and ending crystal growth runs
- Harvesting and inspecting final crystal products.
This is a full-time, Temp to Hire opportunity. 15% pay increase once you convert to Permanent Employee!
The ideal candidate will:
- Maintain and operate all Crystal Growth machines and various support equipment
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all processes related to crystal growth runs
- Providing supporting labor to crucible cleaning operations
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing team initiatives with supervisors and engineering
- Participate in maintaining a safe, efficient, and clean workplace
Salary: $21.00 an hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
