Our client, a leader in industrial solutions, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department, supporting various project and field teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: St. Louis Metro Area
Pay Range: $84,000 - $115,000 per year
What's the Job?
- Design electrical equipment, facilities, and systems for industrial use, including power one-lines and control schematics.
- Develop and direct testing methods for control devices, transformers, motors, and other industrial equipment.
- Lead the application and installation of industrial control systems to meet customer specifications.
- Coordinate project schedules, budget management, and team responsibilities for efficient project execution.
- Oversee field installation and maintenance, including managing contractors and debugging PLC software.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and drafting; experience with wire way systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of P&IDs, switchgear, transformers, and large generators.
- Ability to travel 20-30% annually, both domestically and internationally
