Our client, an Aerospace Manufacturing Company is seeking a contract Avionics System Integration Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Avionics System Integration Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Operational Excellence Team supporting Manufacturing and Engineering. You will be responsible for the integration of Avionic and Electrical systems to support the installation of aftermarket products and installations for commercial rotorcraft.

Job Title: Avionics System Integration Electrical Engineer
Location: Mesa, AZ
Pay: $45-$50/hr DOE plus OT, Benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce avionics/electrical integration data for aircraft modifications in power, communication, navigation, autopilot, and instrumentation systems.
  • Translate limited modification specifications into engineering design data for aircraft completions.
  • Research and review engineering data to determine efficient integration methods.
  • Communicate designs and specifications clearly to shop managers and personnel, addressing issues promptly.
  • Identify products/vendors for design criteria and support design review meetings with customers.
Requirements
  • BS degree in related Engineering field and 10+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering in Aerospace including strong process improvement experience
  • Knowledge of avionics and electrical design, integration and analysis and can make recommendations for change
  • Background in sheet metal, composites, materials, equipment and manufacturing processes and experience with older tooling and manufacturing processes like hydroforming and stretching along with more modern processes
  • Possess a good working knowledge of commercial and military avionics equipment, aerospace electrical practices, and general aircraft modification operations
  • Proficient in the use of CAD programs with complete and thorough knowledge of AutoCAD required; preference given to candidates possessing working knowledge of Unigraphics, NX and CATIA.
