Location: 11800 West Capitol Drive Wauwatosa WI 53222 US(Onsite)
Duration: 03+ Month's Contract
Pay Range $23.00 to $29.00/hr.

We are looking for a "Electrician" to join one of our Fortune 500 clients.

Job Summary
The Electrician is responsible for the operation, inspection, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in assigned facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role includes troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and adhering to all applicable safety and operational regulations.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical and electrical equipment to achieve efficient results.
  • Occasionally drive a company van for job-related tasks.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance is performed safely to minimize downtime through proactive performance testing and scheduled maintenance.
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical wiring and circuitry issues; install and repair electrical equipment and wiring, including roughing in feeders and branch circuit cables.
  • Splice electrical or communication cables/trunk lines and perform finishing work on electrical devices.
  • Utilize electrical test equipment, gauges, and other measuring devices to test electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems per manufacturer's instructions; perform device validation and system commissioning.
  • Complete assigned repairs and emergency or preventive maintenance as required; maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
  • Respond swiftly to emergency situations and summon additional assistance as necessary.
  • Review historical maintenance records to develop proactive inspection and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Operate company vehicles safely and follow prescribed routines to service locations in a timely manner.
  • Provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and training to coworkers.
  • Coordinate and assign tasks to co-workers within a work unit or project.
  • Set project deadlines based on thorough knowledge of procedures and company policies; make decisions to achieve results and meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Must-Have Skills:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Minimum of seven years of experience as a licensed electrician.
  • Valid driver's license.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
  • Completion of a formal apprenticeship program preferred.
  • Prior experience with DDC (Direct Digital Control) and EMS (Energy Management Systems) preferred.
  • Master Electrician license as dictated by local electrical codes.
Experience & Education:
  • 7 years of experience
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Apprenticeship completion is preferred but not required.
