Job Description: Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking for a SENIOR Principle Electrical Engineer to support our Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA. Our Engineers work in a high exposure, fast paced, and exciting environment that involves "hands on" technical challenges, problem solving, and inter-department collaborations. Statement of work includes performing detailed electrical mixed circuit design, circuit level analysis, support qualification testing, preparing of test procedures and reports, LabView design, and supporting hardware production manufacturing.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 8 years of relevant experience; OR master's in electrical engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.

• Experience with schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer.

• Experience with test equipment such as multimeter, O-scope, signal generator, DC/AC power supplies, and network analyzer.

• Hands-on troubleshooting of electrical hardware.

• Experience with design, development, and troubleshooting of NI LabView and NI Teststand Software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to work with minimal direction or guidance.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design.

• Experience with development and design of automated test equipment,

• Experience with Altium designer for schematic capture and board layout.

• Experience with OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice for circuit simulation.

• Experience using FPGA, CPLD and micro-controllers.

• Experience with IPC and Military standards.
