Job Description:

Overview:
Due to continued growth, Nuclear Services Group is looking for Electrical Engineers onsite at Crane Clean Energy Center (formerly TMI 1) in Middletown, PA. In this role, you will coordinate with diverse disciplines, review designs, and manage projects with autonomy. Additionally, you will prepare specs, evaluate bids, and innovate solutions to technical challenges. Responsibilities:
Understand roles played by other disciplines on the project and possess the ability to coordinate and interface with other engineering disciplines

Participate in reviewing and checking designs, drawings, and data prepared by other engineers or subcontractors

Prepare design studies, project scopes and engineering estimates

Manage budget, scope, schedule, and quality associated with the designated work assignment with minimal guidance and technical oversight

Prepare electrical equipment procurement and installation specifications and evaluate technical bids and select equipment

Devise new approaches to technical problems

Travel and participate in field installation, checkout, and start-up

Direct and oversee routine and advanced technical work performed by others on assigned projects and maintain quality standards of all assigned projects

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university

Minimum of 3 years' experience in Electrical Engineering design for mid level, and typically has 7 plus years of experience.

Experience supporting modifications of Nuclear Power Plants preferred

Experience in electrical codes, standards and criteria for power systems

Demonstrated proficiency in preparation of electrical calculations is desired

Makes recommendations based on knowledge and experience

Proficient in Microsoft Suite

Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills

Ability to be an individual contributor and work effectively in teams

Must be able to perform plant walkdowns, crawling, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven terrain.

Must be able to get badged at a nuclear facility.

This position may offer per diem for non local candidates.
