Job Description

As an Electro-Mechanical Industrialization Engineer, the candidate will lead the industrialization/ design transfer of infusion systems and other electro-mechanical device products into contract manufacturers and internal plants. The candidate will investigate, identify, develop, and optimize new manufacturing methods and techniques to produce reliable products. Electro-Mechanical Industrialization Engineer shall lead manufacturing partners through early collaboration with the engineering teams to ensure seamless transfer of a new infusion pump product to manufacturing. The candidate shall execute design transfer strategy, as the key interface with internal and external manufacturing partners. Establishing and maintaining procedures and checkpoints that ensure the new product design requirements successfully translate into production processes and specifications.


Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent education with years of experience or masters degree or equivalent education with typically +8 years of experience
  • 10+ years of electro- mechanical medical device manufacturing and / or medical device design transfer experience preferably in a regulated industry
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Interacts well with diverse groups within matrix organizations and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholders
  • Knowledge of product realization processes, quality systems, and regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Interacts well with diverse groups within functions and maintains strong working relationships with internal and external collaborators.
  • Travel 75-80%
