We're looking for a Master Electrician to join us at Marvin. Your typical day will include supporting the Marvin facilities, systems, and equipment including preventive maintenance, consulting on new and existing equipment and facilities, electrical (Intertek/UL) and building code requirements and supporting issues as they arise. You'll get to manage projects while still getting hands-on experience using your skills.
This role works Monday through Friday with some after-hours & weekend on-call when necessary. Enjoy working in a clean, safe, temperature-controlled facility with great teams. $7500 Sign-On Bonus Highlights of your role - Ensure compliance with electrical and building codes including but not limited to Intertek/UL.
- Provide recommendations for preventative maintenance and solutions for problematic issues to enhance equipment and facility effectiveness to ensure safety, reduce downtime, increase efficiency and quality.
- Research potential components, evaluate performance and make recommendations to ensure our equipment and facilities perform at a high level and cost effectively.
- Assist in Project Management for special building and machine projects. Serve as an electrical consultant to Marvin facilities and outside contractors including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, Roofing, Johnson Controls.
- Building and managing relationships internally and externally is of the utmost importance for all aspects of this position. Train and mentor others to ensure we win as a team.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can) - Preferred mechanical knowledge includes: pneumatics/hydraulics, electrical diagrams and systems, controls, sensors and PLC's
Also want to make sure you have - Associates degree or equivalent experience Electronics (or related field) and/or five or more years related experience required
- Must possess proficient mechanical and electrical skills with the ability to read and understand schematics and diagrams. Lead and administer building of control panels and supervise involvement of electrical apprentice activities.
- A valid North Dakota Master Electrician License or the ability to obtain one is required
