Job Description:

Piper Life Sciences is actively seeking a Process Engineer II for a Denmark based pharmaceutical organization that produces products for the needs of patients with unmet chronic diseases. The Process Engineer II will get to join a global network of manufacturing professionals to improve system & equipment reliability. This is a Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 5:00 position locatedin the greater Raleigh, NC area.

Responsibilities of the Process Engineer II:

  • Improve system and equipment reliability to meet business and regulatory requirements
  • Lead cross functional process improvements
  • Support technical development of Process Maintenance Techs and Area Specialists
  • Participate in process improvement projects, remain hands on with engineering tools that define that new processes, and carry these out for long-term
  • Improve the performance of an existing process or set of systems using root cause analysis and green belt tools
  • Develop and manage project budgets for improvements of processes and systems
  • Participate in event response activities
  • Qualifications of the Process Engineer II :

  • B.S. and 5 - 8 years of industry engineering experience
  • Experience in Instrumentation and Electrical, Mechanical, Control/SCADA/PLCs, Root Cause, Process Improvement Methodologies, and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
  • Experience in Maintenance, Design, Process Improvement, and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Compensation of the Process Engineer II:

  • Salary: $90,000-$130,000
