Job Summary:
Delta G Consulting Engineers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with 8-10 years of expertise in Electrical engineering for diverse building projects. The Designer/Engineer will play a key role in the design, coordination, and creation of construction documents for electrical systems for residential, commercial, healthcare, municipal, institutional and many other building types. This position involves working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, sustainable, and cost-effective mechanical engineering solutions - on time.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create HVAC systems for construction documents for a variety of building types.
- Develop and prepare detailed construction documents, specifications, layouts, and mechanical schematics.
- Conduct load calculations, energy modeling, and life-cycle cost analyses to optimize system efficiency and sustainability.
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless project integration and compliance with regulatory requirements and Delta G standards.
- Perform site visits, oversee installations, and provide technical support during all phases of the project.
- Identify and troubleshoot design issues and make recommendations for improvements or alternative solutions.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, building strong relationships and providing clear, timely updates.

Requirements:
- 8-10 years of experience in electrical engineering, with proficiency across various building types, such as hospitals, schools, municipal buildings, hotels, and residential complexes.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and electrical design tools.
- Strong knowledge of local and national electrical codes, standards, and energy efficiency regulations.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
