Job Title: Senior Principal Electrical Engineer
Pay Rate: $55 - $59/hr. W2

Location: San Diego, CA

Our team is driving the hiring process for a Senior Principal Electrical Engineer to support the Circuit Design organization in San Diego, CA. Our engineers work in a high-exposure, fast-paced, and exciting environment that involves "hands-on" technical challenges, problem-solving, and inter-department collaborations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform detailed electrical mixed circuit design and circuit-level analysis.

  • Support qualification testing and prepare test procedures and reports.

  • Develop LabView designs and support hardware production manufacturing.

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address technical challenges.

  • Utilize test equipment, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, DC/AC power supplies, and network analyzers, for troubleshooting and development.



Basic Qualifications:

  • Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience; OR

    • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in schematic capture and board layout using Altium Designer.

  • Hands-on troubleshooting experience with electrical hardware.

  • Experience in design, development, and troubleshooting of NI LabView and NI TestStand Software.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to work with minimal direction or guidance.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on mixed circuit design.

  • Experience in the development and design of automated test equipment.

  • Proficiency in OrCAD, Pspice, or LTspice for circuit simulation.

  • Experience with FPGA, CPLD, and microcontrollers.

  • Familiarity with IPC and Military standards.

Pay Details: $55.59 to $59.29 per hour
