Our client is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team.The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for evaluating current processes, recommending and implementing process changes, evaluate, design and install specialty equipment as well as support our continuous improvement and lean manufacturing efforts.

What's the Job?
• Take ownership for our manufacturing machines and are expected to be able and willing to troubleshoot machines along with our maintenance technicians.
• Analyzes equipment downtime to improve reliability and reduce maintenance costs
• Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design and develop equipment, fixturing, procedures, processes, tooling and/or automation
• Assesses process capabilities, identifies improvement opportunities and integrates new processes & equipment to maximize manufacturing throughput and velocity
• Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment layout
• Responsible for KPI and manufacturing process flow improvements
What's Needed?
• Mechanical Engineering degree
• 2-5 years' experience as an engineer in a manufacturing facility preferred
