Job Description:

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to join a program supporting on of our clients. This role will sit fully onsite in Falls Church, VA.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop digital logic, analog, and digital audio circuits.
  • Ensure product requirements are met for performance, packaging, environmental conditions, and verification testing.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary engineering team, including hardware, mechanical, firmware, and software engineers.
  • Engage with various professionals to facilitate project success.
  • Contribute to all phases of technical system development, from concept to maintenance.
  • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical engineering design and development.
  • Proficient troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with DoD and related government agency programs is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of human engineering, systems safety, reliability, maintainability, weight management, requirements management, risk management, and supportability planning.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC, TEMPEST, and wireless communications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and schematic capture programs (Altium preferred).
  • Experience with FPGA devices (Microsemi preferred) and other engineering development PC applications.
  • Proficiency in C/C++, VHDL, and LabView.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Compensation:

  • $110,000 - $160,000
