Job Description:

The Mechanical Engineer Quality Analyst role assists in ensuring the delivery of high-quality and innovative gaming products. This role will involve strategic planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to develop cutting-edge hardware solutions that enhance the gaming experience.

You will be responsible for providing data and analysis in assisting to resolve non-routine global field and production escalated problems and providing ideas for improvement in a timely manner. This role will also gather/analyze data and report trending on critical quality issues regarding significant field failure occurrences that may impact (or has impacted) forecasted sales/revenue to the business from DV to end of life of a product.

You will use your knowledge of mechanical component and assembly level design/development and documentation (2D and 3D) to validate and test of parts and components related to electronic gaming machines (i.e. slot machines). You will facilitate the on-time delivery of mechanical designs that meet or exceed product requirements and customer expectations. You will partner with Global Engineering team on documentation and data storage standards.

This role will be the sole owner of the PV-IQC (HW Engineering Production Validation FAI process) and will also work with EQD (Engineering Quality Director) and Supplier Quality on reported component issues to drive team to resolution with the vendor.

What You'll Do

  • Experienced using a variety of software applications - ECO / PLM specific (SharePoint, Teamcenter preferred), ERP specific (M2K, D365, or MAX preferred), Database specific (Excel, PowerBI, Remedy, Jira preferred)

  • Proficient in 3D MCAD. Solidworks preferred.

  • Previous experience with sheet metal and injection molding preferred.

  • Experienced in an ECO Process - Creation, workflow process, requirements, and implementation.

  • Experience in data analyzing for quality improvement.

  • Experience interacting with cross functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sourcing, Quality, Compliance, Field Service, and ERP/Configuration)

  • Experience working with and improving process documentation (Visio, process mapping)

  • Apply continuous improvement methodology that improves efficiencies and quality of the Engineering Development process

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor degree required, BS related degree (ie., Engineering Discipline; Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred, or 5 years applicable experience

  • Previous experience in engineering, quality, or manufacturing role. Preferably experience working with Gaming Equipment

  • Knowledge of software tools used (Microsoft Office suite, PLM, SolidWorks, Teamcenter, D365 preferred)

  • Good communication skills (written and oral)

Travel Expectations Up to 25%

Pay Range $71,884 - $133,499 per year

Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
