OPPORTUNITYFor an entry level engineer with an interest in designing
refrigeration systems for large industrial and commercial facilities. Join an integrated team of architects, engineers, and project managers and engage in challenging projects up to $500 million for many of the biggest brands in the industry. This key role will develop a broad set of engineering competencies, technical design knowledge, consultation and problem-solving skills in an environment that values collaboration.
POSITIONReports directly to the Manager of Refrigeration Engineering. Focuses on the design and integration of industrial ammonia, halocarbon, and chilled water refrigeration systems for the meat, dairy, and beverage industries. Responsibilities include design calculations, equipment selections, drawing preparation, specification writing, cost estimating, project review presentations, and construction coordination. This position will proactively work across multi-discipline design teams.
QUALIFICATIONS- BSME, BSMET, BSAE or related degree; EIT a plus
- Strong interest in applied thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
- Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, and Excel a plus
- Strong work ethic and leadership capabilities
- Proven self starter with the ability to manage time and work priorities independently
- Curious in nature, with a desire to learn new concepts
