Cohu is seeking a Electrical Engineer for the development team in the Interface Solutions Group (ISG). The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in the design, development, testing of ATE test interface solutions for high volume semiconductor test applications. This position requires interest and aptitude with mechanical and software areas, but with the primary focus being on electrical engineering. In addition, solid communication and organization skills are required, along with the ability to work within a cross-functional team. Candidate is expected to maintain project management responsibilities for their assigned projects including maintaining timelines and meeting milestones. Familiar with Microsoft Office products including word, excel, powerpoint, and project (Preferred) Experience with RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and vector network analyzers (Preferred) Knowledge of RF theory and concepts, such as s-parameters and smith charts (Preferred) Knowledge of 3D EM field solver tools such as Ansys HFSS
