Overview: Our client is well established consulting engineering firm that is a national pioneer in the development of net zero energy buildings. They are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team within the Lexington market!
Job Duties and Responsibilities: - Design the electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
- Attend meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
- Review contractor submittals (shop drawings, etc.) to determine conformance with contract documents
- Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks
- Research and analyze customer design proposals specification , manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
- Identify and resolve issues/conflicts as they arise
- Maintain and develop customer relationships
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience: - 3+ years of experience in consulting engineering
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
- Experience in MEP Design
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
