Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Operations: Monitor and support daily operations and participate in planning meetings.
  • Inspections: Perform periodic inspections of all related parts for completeness, compliance, and condition.
  • Maintenance Planning: Develop, oversee, and verify storage and preservation plans.
  • Response Plans: Create and demo response plans to minimize downtime, ensuring they are viable with available resources.
  • Mentorship: Mentor staff on prompt troubleshooting and issue analysis.
  • Surveillance Activities: Ensure and verify compliance with surveillance activities to detect emerging issues.
  • Risk Management: Monitor scope, role, and responsibilities to identify changes and risks early, taking corrective and preventive actions as needed.
  • KPI Achievement: Meet or exceed KPIs for responsiveness, reliability, and availability.
  • Outage Planning: Conduct detailed maintenance planning, including pre-outage, outage, and post-outage activities.

Minimum Requirements:

Education & Training:
  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field, or a combination of education and experience.
  • Borescope Inspection and proficiency on GE Fr 7EA hardware.
  • Maintenance training on Frame 7EA GTs.
  • Completion of assigned regulatory training as per EHS requirements.

Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience with the installation, operation, and maintenance of E/F Class industrial gas turbine systems and components.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of gas turbine architecture, support systems, and troubleshooting.
  • Expertise in borescope inspection methods and interpreting hardware conditions.
  • Experience with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of gas turbines and associated systems.
  • 3+ years of experience solving technical or maintenance problems on cross-functional teams, with advanced communication and documentation skills.
  • General working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machining, repair technologies, and fabrication techniques, including additive manufacturing.
