Job Description

A brilliant opportunity exists for an outstanding individual capable of fitting into this very rewarding Electrical Engineer role. Our client, a leading machinery company, is looking to hire someone who can bring added value to the team. If you're dedicated, energetic and detail-oriented, this could be the perfect role for you. Responsibilities include:

1) Work with the Engineering Team to maintain and update customer-supplied drawings for low-voltage electrical, fire suppression, and high-voltage busway systems

2) Establish best-practice methods for functional testing of low-voltage systems in a high-speed manufacturing environment

3) Support the Production Team by working directly with journeymen supervisors to build visual aids, jigs, fixtures, and quality gauges to increase production speed and accuracy

4) Manage third-party NETA testing services for all high-voltage equipment

5) Maintain strong, high-level communication with various members of the customer team through assembly to final delivery and commissioning

6) Work cooperatively with others and deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management

7) Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies

8) Comply with the company's policies and procedures

9) Perform other duties as assigned

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the machinery industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in electrical engineering

Compensation and Other Details

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
