Piper Companies is hiring a Senior Mechanical Engineer for a Semiconductor Manufacturing Company located in California. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will need to sit on site 5 days per week in Saratoga, CA.
Responsibilities for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Lead mechanical design and analysis for advanced packaging. Develop and optimize surface mount technology and assembly processes. Design air and liquid cooling systems for electronic components. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate photonics packages. Document and present mechanical design and analysis results. Requirements for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering. Experience with air and liquid cooling systems. 10+ years of experience in advanced packaging and surface mount technology. In-depth knowledge of flip chip, 2.5D, and 3D packaging technologies, including TSVs. Preferred experience with photonics package integration. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Compensation for the Senior Mechanical Engineer:
$130,000 - $200,000 Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, Sick leave if required by law, holiday
