Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

Location: Perry, Florida 32347 (Relocation Package Available)

Salary: $110,000 - $140,000

What You Will Be Doing

We are looking for a hands-on, on the floor approach, mechanical engineer with design experience.

• Lead R&D projects and product improvement initiatives.
• Plan and coordinate special projects, including the design and fabrication of production equipment.
• Develop mechanical / electromechanical fixtures and machines based on customer requirements.
• Design automated and semi/automated assembly and secondary machines.
• Evaluate existing mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Improve yield and throughput of production systems.
• Design test methods for system and product quality.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair services.

What You Need for this Position

• 4 year degree in Mechanical Engineering (Or equivalent experience)
• 4+ years experience designing / maintaining hydraulic/pneumatic presses and automated assembly machines.
• Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Understanding of basic machining processes.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Familiarity with FEA.
• Microsoft Office
• Experience designing munitions desired (Not required)
