Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 - Depending on experience

Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components, ensuring they meet the required specifications and standards. This position offers an opportunity to work on innovative projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
  • Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFMA) analysis.
  • Utilize Six Sigma methodologies to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
  • Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for engineering challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and reports related to engineering projects.
  • Oversee CNC machining operations and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Implement GD&T principles in design and documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in mechanical design and engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and CAD software.
  • Strong knowledge of DFM, DFMA, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Experience with CNC machining and related processes.
  • Familiarity with root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
  • Understanding of GD&T and its application in engineering design.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
