Summary We are seeking a Process Engineer to design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery with the goal of maximizing production line efficiency. The role also involves verifying the materials and components used in the creation of a diverse range of products. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in experimental design and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional team to accomplish objectives. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position. Job Duties Perform material qualification process to qualify new materials for RD or Production Review Specsheet to define test items and quantity, review data, and prepare qualification report to qualify/deny material Work with Production Engineering team and production line to perform qualification processes Provide qualification SOP and instructions for Technicians and Operators Modify necessary manufacturing processes as needed Work with Quality team to establish inspection standards for new material Work with Sourcing team to review specifications and documentation from vendors 5 10% international travel is expected for this position. Other duties as needed or required. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's Degree in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline or relevant field Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 1-3 years of working experience in Engineering related work Knowledge of common programming languages Use of LabVIEW programming or circuit design experience is a plus CAD Skills, SQL, and database skills preferred Strong teamwork and communication skills to manage multiple/concurrent projects Six Sigma Management and CAD design certifications a plus Location This position will be on-site based in Sugar Land, Texas.
