Overview Aluminum Dynamics LLC., is seeking entrepreneurial Electrical Engineers for our Starkville, West Point and Columbus Mississippi area green field state-of-the-art Aluminum Rolling Mill. Manufacturing area opportunities include Melt/Cast, Hot rolling, Cold rolling, Automotive or Can Stock continuous thermal/coating treatment and Finishing operations. Successful applicants will provide engineering support to departmental Maintenance and Operations. Initial responsibilities include equipment installation, commissioning, acceptance testing, operational readiness, and start-up. These individuals will then transition into the technical equipment experts for their respective departments focusing on process and equipment optimization, restoring flow during breakdowns, development of maintenance procedures and equipment upgrade. Responsibilities Responsibilities: Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations within respective department (Melt/Cast, Hot rolling, Cold rolling, Continuous thermal/coating treatment and Finishing operations). Lead area electrical engineering and provide support for achieving plant's safety, customer, quality, sustainability, and profit objectives. Collaborate with operations team members, troubleshoot equipment and process problems, provide engineered solutions to the problems. Develop repair and rebuild maintenance procedures. Support for restoration of flow during breakdowns and develop repair and rebuild maintenance procedures. Manage equipment rebuilds working with in-house and contracted maintenance resources. Develop capital improvement projects, associated timelines, and oversee project executions. Become the equipment expert for the department, providing technical leadership, mentoring, and upskilling of staff that support the department. Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4-Year accredited institution. Job posting is open to all levels of experience as an Electrical or Control/Systems Engineer in an industrial manufacturing environment. Experience in Aluminum or Steel industrial manufacturing environment preferred, but not required. Demonstrated ability to develop requirements, specifications, P&ID diagrams, and all else required to specify, plan, and execute process and equipment improvement projects. Experience managing and installation of capital projects Experience in PLC systems configuration and programming (i.e., Siemens, Modicon, and Rockwell Automation), development in user interface applications (i.e., WinCC Flexible, RSView and InTouch), and tuning and troubleshooting AC/DC motor drives. Working knowledge of Computerized Maintenance management systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills Advanced problem solving and creative thinking skills Ability to work with cross-functional teams Legally authorized to work in the United States.
