Senior Electrical Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for our innovative projects. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical design and embedded firmware, as well as experience with measurement while drilling (MWD) technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems and components for various projects.
• Develop specifications and documentation of circuits and software for MWD/LWD tools
• Design, test, and maintain embedded firmware for downhole systems
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical designs to ensure reliability and performance.
• Develop RF transmitter and receiver antennas and associated analog and digital electronics.
• Apply knowledge of ruggedized design methodologies for the high temperature, high vibration downhole drilling environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of MWD/LWD experience is preferred.
• Proven experience with embedded firmware on various microprocessors and microcontrollers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
• Experience with RSS, downhole systems, RF technologies, and high temperature applications is a plus.
