CNC Level 2 Machine Operator Description:
As a CNC Level 2 Operator, you will be responsible for operating, setting up, and optimizing CNC machines to produce high-quality aerospace components. You'll leverage your experience with measuring tools like micrometers and calipers to ensure each part meets stringent tolerances. You'll also be expected to read and interpret blueprints to ensure production is in line with customer specifications.
CNC Level 2 Machine Operator Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to manufacture parts according to precise blueprints and specifications
- Use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and ensure product quality
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining processes and tolerances
- Troubleshoot and adjust machine settings to improve production efficiency and part quality
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and assist in machine repair when needed
- Maintain production records and ensure parts are completed in a timely manner
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment
CNC Level 2 Machine Operator Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments for part inspection
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
- Knowledge of CNC programming and machine setups
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and precision
- Ability to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and adjust settings for optimal performance
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the team
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow in the aerospace manufacturing industry
Pay: $27-38 hourly
