Job Description: - Design products to survive electromagnetic environmental effects.
- Develop requirements based on program requirements and physics rather than legacy program requirements.
- Ensure that designs meet system driven EMI/EMC requirements.
- Work in a multi-disciplined team of electrical, electro-mechanical, and mechanical engineers.
- Set up and conduct EMC tests in accordance with the MIL-STD-461 test standard.
- BSEE with a minimum of 8 years of E3 development experience
- MSEE with a minimum of 6 years of E3 development experience.
- Knowledge of MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-464.
- Minimum 4 years of EMC testing experience.
- Must be familiar with ESD handling and prevention protocols.
- Perform quantitative E3 analysis.
- Knowledge of electrical safety and military EMC compliance standards, requirements, and test methods.
- Experience with vulnerability characterization.
- Work experience in an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory.
- Able to assist with basic troubleshooting, basic interpretation, and analysis of test results.
