Job Description:

We are looking for an Engineer-In-Training to assist in providing high-quality engineering services for our clients while supporting the Design Engineer, Project Manager and/or Client Manager. Essential Responsibilities Work to perform design of portions of projects or entire projects under direction of Project Engineer. Assist in the analysis of reports, maps, drawings, tests, and aerial photographs to plan and design projects. Assist in the preparation of reports based on data collected. Visit construction sites to monitor progress and other duties per the contract document. Prepare design computations and quantity estimates. Other Responsibilities Apply for permits. Perform occasional CADD work with oversight from CAD department. Attend client meetings with Client Manager and prepare meeting minutes. Perform other office duties as needed. Working Conditions and Environment The EIT will work both in the office and occasionally out in the field. There is a moderate amount of travel to and from job sites when in the field. The noise level in the work environment ranges from low in the office to moderately loud in the field. He/she must be able to lift up to 10 pounds and infrequently lift up to 50 pounds or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Education and Experience Minimum Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field and Passing grade on NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Preferred Masters degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field and Passing grade on NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Preferred Area of Civil Engineering Course Concentration: Water Resources Environmental/ Sanitary
