A very reputable client of ours is seeking a mid to senior level Process Engineer to join their team on a direct hire basis. This role will have responsibility over two value streams and be the go-to engineer when it comes to anything process related for the equipment on the line and how it's running. Candidates must be hands on!
Job Title: Process Engineer
Location: St Louis Park, MN
Salary: 90-125k, depends on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and optimize equipment necessary to produce smart glass.
- Work alongside maintenance technicians to troubleshoot faulted equipment.
- Work cross functionally with R&D, Quality, and Production to address quality issues.
- Suggest equipment modifications to increase machine efficiency, reduce downtime, and reduce changeover time.
- Work with vendors to validate new technologies and specify next generation equipment.
Requirements - 4 Year Engineering Degree (Mechanical/ Chemical etc.)
- 3-5 Years of Engineering Experience (Manufacturing setting preferred)
- PLC and electrical experience is a plus
- Laser background is also a plus
- 3+ Years experience in any of the Glass, Smart window, flat panel display, semiconductor, or
- R&D experience
- Pilot production experience
- Quality Management Software (QMS) experience
- Cleanroom Experience
