We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Permanent Mechanical Engineer Level 3 for our Energy division. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the energy sector, with a specific focus on turbine maintenance and rotating equipment. This role is ideal for a professional who is able to demonstrate high-level technical expertise, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality engineering solutions. This position requires 5+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage the maintenance, repair, and operation of all turbine and rotating equipment within the facility.
2. Utilize CAD software to design and implement engineering solutions.
3. Identify, analyze, and solve complex mechanical issues related to turbines and rotating equipment.
4. Supervise and manage corrections to any turbine and rotating equipment problems.
5. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and lifespan.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless operation of all mechanical systems.
7. Continually monitor equipment and systems to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
8. Lead and participate in safety and risk assessments, ensuring all activities adhere to industry standards and regulations.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the energy sector.
3. Proven experience with CAD software.
4. Extensive knowledge and experience in turbine maintenance and rotating equipment.
5. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and technical skills.
6. Strong leadership and project management skills.
7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
8. A deep understanding of industry safety standards and regulations.
9. Ability to work well in a team and independently.
10. A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
