GPI seeks a Director of Transportation Engineering with a Philadelphia engineering background to join our growing Philadelphia, PA practice. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work in and grow our transportation department.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform and/or manage Engineering related projects in Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
  • Prepare or review written documents, summarize information collected by others, and assemble reports
  • Prepare or review calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports
  • Manage coordination with clients

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Civil or related field required, MS preferred
  • 15+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience in Highway, Bridge, Rail, Water, or Traffic preferred
  • Pennsylvania P.E. license required
  • PennDOT and City Of Philadelphia experience required
  • Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers and designers
