2. Technology Implementation

  • Collaborate with R&D, environmental specialists, and engineering teams to implement and deploy our PFAS destruction technology.
  • Support technology commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation.
  • Analyze system data and recommend adjustments to enhance process stability and reliability.

3. Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal safety regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for process hazards.
  • Implement process safety protocols, including HAZOP reviews and safety audits.

4. Quality Assurance and Control

  • Develop and maintain process control systems, including instrumentation and monitoring equipment.
  • Perform root-cause analysis of system failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead process validation and quality testing to ensure regulatory and environmental standards are met.

5. Project Management and Documentation

  • Support the development of process documentation, including PFDs, P&IDs, and SOPs.
  • Work closely with project managers to deliver solutions on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with vendors and contractors for equipment procurement and installation.

Qualifications

  • Master's or PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of process engineering experience in industrial chemical processes, hazardous waste treatment, or environmental technology.
  • Direct experience with PFAS or hazardous chemical destruction technologies is highly desirable.
  • Strong background in chemical process design, scale-up, and optimization.

Skills

  • In-depth understanding of PFAS chemical properties, thermochemical reactions, and advanced treatment methods.
  • Expertise in mass/heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and reaction engineering.
  • Proficiency in process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and data analysis.
