Electrical Engineer (RF & Avionics Focus) Company: ITEC Location: Remote or On-site Options Available (Greenwood Village, CO) Job Type: Full-time International Candidates: Open to international candidates. Candidates with strong experience in RF system design, PCB layout, and aerospace electronics who have backgrounds in these areas and are U.S. citizens or Green Card holders are strongly encouraged to apply due to the specialized skills required for this role. Job Description: ITEC is seeking a highly skilled RF-focused Electrical Engineer with expertise in PCB design, circuit layout, and RF systems for aerospace and optical instrumentation. Candidates must excel in an outcome-driven environment, delivering high-quality designs on schedule while working in a fast-paced, iterative setting. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and test RF circuit boards for aerospace and optical instruments.Utilize Eagle and KiCad for schematic capture, PCB layout, and Gerber file generation.Troubleshoot and optimize RF and electrical systems to meet mission requirements.Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers for seamless system integration.Work with photovoltaic systems, CMOS sensors, and Focal Plane Arrays (FPAs).Ensure scalable, efficient, and reliable designs for extreme environments.Support full hardware development lifecycle, from concept to production. Required Skills & Experience: At least 2 years most recent experience in RF system design, PCB layout, and testing.Hands-on proficiency with KiCad and Eagle CAD.Aerospace, avionics, or space-based electronics experience (e.g., Boeing, Cessna, avionics repair stations).Strong background in RF circuits, troubleshooting, and embedded system design.Ability to work in a fast-paced, outcome-driven environment.Proficiency in power electronics and photovoltaic arrays. Preferred Skills: Experience with satellite or space-based electronics.Knowledge of high-reliability design for space applications.Understanding of power distribution and regulation in aerospace environments.Prior experience in commercial spaceflight or new space initiatives. Education & Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent hands-on experience.Advanced degrees are welcome but not required.Certifications in RF engineering, PCB design, or power electronics are a plus.
