Eli Lilly and company seeks a Sr. Process Engineer (R3) to provide engineering support of manufacturing equipment and operations. Respond to and troubleshoot process equipment related issues. Ensure regulatory compliance from an equipment and process performance aspect. Lead equipment-related investigation and resolutions. Execute or assist in process-related change controls. Create or modify SOPS and Batch Records for Engineering procedures as required.

Position requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field and 1 year of experience with cell culture, purification and support systems, and its associate bioprocessing equipment used in the manufacturing of biotech products or related regulated pharmaceutical area. Experience must include a minimum of: 1 year of industrial experience in a cGMP environment; 1 year of experience with biopharmaceutical processes and equipment including bioreactors, centrifuges, TFF and chromatography systems, media/buffer prep, and CIP/SIP; 1 year of experience identifying and resolving manufacturing non-conformances, performing root cause analysis; 1 year of experience preparing, reviewing, and revising SOPs, deviations, protocols, risk assessments, and BMP for manufacturing processes; and 1 year of experience executing process-related change controls; and 1year experience establishing and maintaining the reliable operation and qualified state of manufacturing equipment. Part time telecommuting may be permitted. Up to 5% domestic and international travel required.

Actual compensation will depend on a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location. The anticipated wage for this position is

$91,894

Full-time equivalent employees also will be eligible for a company bonus (depending, in part, on company and individual performance).
