Job Summary:Responsible for designing and supervising the mechanical systems for different industries.Key Responsibilities: Design and analyze process equipment, including pressure vessels, piping, and stainless steel components. Conduct stress analysis, FEA, and thermal transfer evaluations. Supervise drafting and design activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications. Utilize CAD/design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Codeware for engineering tasks. Apply knowledge of ASME Section VIII Division 1 and PED codes in design work. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, customers, vendors, and fabricators to deliver project goals. Support equipment assembly, installation, startup, validation, and field service as required. Perform intermittent domestic and international travel (2-3 days per trip, with one extended trip per year) to oversee equipment commissioning and support construction.Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in mechanical engineering, with a preference for experience in R&D equipment installation, experimental operations, or production environments. Technical Expertise: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Codeware, and Microsoft Office Suite (Project, Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Knowledge of chemical processes, electrical instrumentation, and automation systems. Familiarity with ASME pressure vessel codes and process equipment design. Skills: Strong project management, leadership, and communication skills. Collaborative and energetic team player with customer interaction experience.Preferred Attributes: Experience in stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow systems, heat transfer, instrumentation, and controls.
