Position Overview


We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Solutions for Industry team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings technical excellence to the table, and enjoys leading high-impact projects across the industrial sector.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead electrical design efforts for power distribution (medium/low voltage), grounding systems, lighting, fire alarms, and communication systems with a primary focus on industrial projects.
  • Interpret and apply relevant codes and standards such as NFPA, NESC, ANSI/IEEE, local energy and building codes; familiarity with utility standards is preferred.
  • Serve as the technical lead, guiding a team of electrical designers and engineers from concept through final deliverables.
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff, supporting professional growth and technical development.
  • Interface with clients and cross-discipline teams; lead project meetings and presentations; serve as project manager on small to mid-sized assignments.
  • Support construction activities through estimating, scheduling, inspections, and documentation.
  • Produce technical reports that guide project development and inform client decisions.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering
  • At least 2 years of team leadership experience in a design capacity
  • Commitment to continued learning and staying current with industry trends and standards
