Location: Chatsworth, CA (Relocating to Simi Valley, CA by 2026)
Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off.

Space Vector Corporation is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as an Electrical Engineer. You will be working closely with various teams at Space Vector throughout all phases of product development and testing for multiple key
aerospace programs. In this role, you will be responsible for circuit design, analysis, board layout, hardware debugging, and testing. The main products will be Battery Management Systems (BMS) and related test equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Altium-based PCB schematic and layout design
- Altium parts library development, component creation, and vault maintenance
- EEE parts selection based on circuit design, availability, requirements, obsolescence, etc.
- Identifying and communicating with key vendors and suppliers
- Identifying program risks and opportunities
- Coordinating internal verification and validation as necessary, like tests, analysis, and inspections
- Technical Report preparation
- Handling materials and processes in an AS9100 quality management system environment
- Developing Supplier Data Requirements
- Interfacing with customer(s)
- Parts screening and management may be required
- FPGA programming may be required
Education, Experience, and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least three (3) years of relevant work experience as an Electrical Engineer
- Proficiency with Altium - PCB schematic and layout design
- Strong organizational skills, including experience producing detailed documentation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self-motivated, hands-on, action-oriented, and able to work autonomously
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully with others, including engineers, production personnel, and program management staff
- FPGA programming experience is strongly preferred
- Aerospace parts screening experience is strongly preferred
Ability to obtain a future Security Clearance is required for the role. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Pay Range: $110,000 - $180,000.
