Job Description:

Mechanical Engineer - Machinery Design

Hanover, PA

$80,000 - $160,000

Up to 4 weeks PTO, all standard holidays off, full benefits, flexible hours, bonus potential, paid gym, and long-term career development

Are you a Mechanical Engineer ready for a role where you'll be trusted to own projects, shape solutions, and receive full tailored training and support you need to keep growing?

Do you feel now's the time to join a business that does everything in-house, gives engineers autonomy, and actually values your input?

This is your opportunity to join a world-class machinery manufacturer supplying clients in 60+ countries from their close-knit site in Hanover. With full in-house design and build capabilities, they take on complex custom projects and back their engineers from concept to completion.

You'll work in a team of 10 engineers where you'll see your designs through from start to finish. You'll collaborate with electrical engineers, assembly techs, and even get involved with customers. Engineers here are fully included in project meetings and can even earn 1.5% commission on any sales they support!

The schedule is fully yours to manage. They genuinely value work-life balance here! Some engineers do four 10-hour days, where others start early and finish early, working Monday to Friday. As long as you're hitting your 40 hours, you've got full flexibility.

If you're looking for real and rewarding engineering work, long-term progression, and a company that genuinely values its people, this is the start of that long-term career you've been looking for.

The role:

  • Design custom automated machinery using AutoDesk tools
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring builds to life
  • Tackle mechanical challenges and contribute to continuous improvement
  • See projects through from concept to completion

The person:

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Skilled in mechanical design for machinery or automation
  • Confident working hands-on in a team environment
  • Eager to grow long-term, technically or into leadership
