JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineer. This Electrical Engineer will be responsible for full engineering lifecycle - design, develop, implement, modification, and analyze parts. Other responsibilities include collaborating with other engineers, mechanical, designers, and electrical, to prepare plans, designs, methods, and reports. A background in PCD design and implementation is required. The Electrical Engineer will complete engineering projects and electro-mechanical system designs to ensure the development, implementation, and maintenance of new systems and products.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (or STEM related degree)

• Active US Secret Clearance (or ability to obtain)

• 7-10 years of experience in electrical engineering

• PCB design and testing

• Knowledgeable with VFDs (control system design, power system design)

• Developing electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

• SolidWorks & SAP Experience

• Experience with digital electrical circuits, electrical component selection, and panel wiring

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Product Data Management (PDM) software experience (Solid Works EPDM is a plus) & Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software (SAP preferred)

• EMI Testing

• Experience working with small components
