Overview: We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a new dynamic mechanical engineering team. As a Sr. Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for applying engineering principles to complete technical assignments and projects independently while also collaborating across departments to resolve process and product issues.

Responsibilities

• Enhance manufacturing capabilities through innovative ideas and methods
• Assist with troubleshooting equipment and processes.
• Analyze recurring errors and develop solutions to reduce downtime.
• Interface with operators and team leaders to monitor and correct process fluctuations.
• Manage new equipment introduction, including financial justification and tracking project spending.
• Develop training documentation and conduct initial training for production personnel.
• Document projects using project and change management tools.
• Implement process or equipment improvements to enhance product performance and quality.
• Support the transfer of new technology from development to production.
• Ensure new technology is repeatable in a production environment.
• Complete all necessary production and maintenance documentation
• Achieve departmental goals in cost reduction, productivity, process optimization, capacity increases, scrap reduction, and product enhancements.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and apply Six Sigma methodology.

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead medium and large-scale equipment-focused projects.
• Experience with SolidWorks/Inventor and AutoCAD software.
