Job Summary: The Mechanical Engineer will lead the creation of construction drawings, specifications, system studies, and master planning. You will collaborate with clients, project teams, code officials, and contractors to address mechanical issues. Our projects include higher education, commercial, healthcare, and industrial facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design HVAC systems based on project scope and client RFPs.
  • Plan and evaluate mechanical systems for various projects.
  • Perform Load/Energy calculations using Sefaira or Trane Trace 3D.
  • Develop reports and project specifications.
  • Survey and document existing HVAC systems.
  • Provide construction administration services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • PE license or working towards it within 5 years.
  • LEED certification/experience.
  • 1-5 years of design experience.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, codes, standards, and design guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic and attitude.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to plan, balance, and prioritize work.
  • Team leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office.
  • Willingness to travel.
