Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and driven Electrical Engineer to develop custom electrical and control solutions for a variety of applications. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, cross-functional environment alongside Sales, Applications, Mechanical Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams. The position also supports sustaining engineering efforts and continuous improvement initiatives for existing products.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical components, wiring harnesses, and subsystems to meet specific customer requirements.
- Interpret and translate customer needs into clear, functional engineering designs.
- Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics and As-Built documentation.
- Use computer-assisted design (CAD) software to create and manage technical drawings.
- Release electrical parts and assemblies for production with appropriate documentation and approvals.
- Support the production team with troubleshooting and engineering-related production challenges.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments, vendors, and customers to ensure project success.
- Participate in sustaining engineering activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Take ownership of projects and customer accounts, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.
- Perform special engineering projects as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least 3 years of electrical engineering experience OR 7 years of relevant experience without a degree.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD LT, AutoCAD Electrical, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in programming or working with programmable logic devices.
- Ability to travel to customer and manufacturing sites as needed.
