Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes and a proven track record of driving process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and capital project management.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support manufacturing process development, optimization, and improvement projects.
  • Support the maintenance and operations of the plants electrical systems and trouble shooting of electrical and controls system problems
  • Create and modify schematics drawings using Auto Cad software
  • Provide technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to resolve complex technical issues including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing technologies, products, and processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, electrical schematics, and standard operating procedures.
  • Support development of a long-term capital plan to support manufacturing as well as future growth.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.


Supervisory Skills:

  • No direct supervisory reports.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities effectively, ensuring the development of team members.


Other Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or automation engineering preferably in the packaging industry.
  • Excellent Electrical engineering knowledge and experience
  • HMI, Controls, and servo programming skills
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks) and manufacturing simulation tools.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, including chemical handling and transfers as well as converting.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to troubleshooting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
