Alt-Bionics, Inc. is growing and is looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead engineering efforts in our robotics division, focused on advanced bionic hands (dexterous manipulators) for humanoid robotic and industrial applications.
In just a few years after Alt-Bionics was founded (2020), we went from a blank slate to a fully functional bionic hand for those living with limb loss. From the foundations of this first hand, and in just 18 months, we built an improved robotics version with major improvements in speed, strength, and functionality, that is being used by humanoid robots today. Now, we are building the next leap forward. Hands unlike the world has seen before, and we are looking for an electrical engineer who wants to help us build this next bleeding edge of hands. We are searching for someone who thrives on rapid progress, embraces technical challenges, and wants their work to make a difference. What you build here will power both cutting-edge robotics and real-world prosthetics that will have impact around the world.
In the role you'll lead cross-functional engineering efforts and operate with autonomy across electrical, mechanical, and software teams. This role is fast-paced, hands-on, and critical to future product success. If you know how to architect robust embedded systems, debug at every level, and ship hardware that actually works in the field, we want to talk.
Note: Only those with startup experience or an understanding of what that may entail should apply.
